Cloud
At Group K we don’t believe in old, traditional IT. During COVID-19 many organizations were enforced to re-invent their application landscape and re-think their IT strategy.
Security
At Group K we enforce our customers to implement security best practices defined by our strategic partners and vendors. Together with our customers, we build and maintain IT environments which are secure “by design”.
Connectivity
Our expert network engineers are highly skilled and multi-certified to build and maintain complex networking infrastructure for our customers.

Cloud
Cloud
Do you really know what the cloud is? To most of us, the cloud is a magical place where our data lives safely and securely. But obviously, it’s a bit more complicated than that. Cloud service is important to organizations that house their customers data and their inventory, and it can be overwhelming.
Maintaining on-premises IT infrastructure can be both costly and labor intensive. That’s why the demand from our customers for cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is accelerating as organizations continue to pursue digital strategies.
At Group K we don’t believe in old, traditional IT. During COVID-19 many organizations were enforced to re-invent their application landscape and re-think their IT strategy. They were enforced to be flexible, cost efficient and extremely scalable.
Assisting our customers in analyzing, evaluating, designing and implementing cloud service solutions is one of our core business solutions today. Our team of expert cloud engineers will support the lifecycle management of configuring and maintaining cloud services and solutions.
How do we differentiate ourselves from our competitors? By expertise and by giving more added value to our customers! We heavily invest in training programs and enforce our cloud engineers to be the best of the class.
Security
(IT) Security
Running services in the cloud and interacting with our data requires us to create a secure and stable environment. Every endpoint can be a potential attack vector for your company.
Only protecting your endpoints using a traditional antivirus product is not enough. Many of the malware today can easily escape from these protective services. Every day and every hour, thousands of accounts are attacked by malicious users. Mailbox data is very often stolen, resulting in reputation damage and potential revenue loss.
Many companies are still vulnerable to known, easy to solve threats. Due to a lack of vulnerability management and proper identity validation processes, financial and other data is lost in cyber space.
At Group K we enforce our customers to implement security best practices defined by our strategic partners and vendors. Together with our customers, we build and maintain IT environments which are secure “by design” – lowering the potential attack vector to the minimum.
We believe we can make a difference by adopting our cyber security defense plan to known and unknown attack vectors by thinking out of the box. We are using the power of the cloud to analyze potential threats and coordinate potential service improvements by working together with our partners and vendors.

Connectivity
(Edge) Connectivity
When creating and running high performance, scalable solutions in the cloud while utilizing the power of the cloud through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning techniques we require a stable, secure connection to our cloud services.
5G and edge computing are opening a world of new revenue opportunities across manufacturing, transport, gaming and more. All these new opportunities require a constant and stable internal connection from multiple edge locations (e.g. main or remote offices) for continuous and reliable data logging, sometimes along with low latency needs. A stable, well-maintained network of LAN and WIFI services is a “must-have”.
Our expert network engineers are highly skilled and multi-certified to build and maintain complex networking infrastructure to support the move to “more cloud services” for our customers.
Our 24/7 team is available in case a critical network failure is detected by our sensors.
Who we are
About Us
Group K, an IT integrator with our headquarters in Houthalen-Helchteren, was founded by the administrators Frank and Theo Keunen and originated as a logical growth pole from the company K.A.N.S.-EXPERTS BVBA (Keunen Auditing Network Solutions Experts) that has also been active in Information Technology and in Audit activities for more than 16 years. This company was founded by Theo Keunen in 2006 until the end of 2020, whereby the creation of a new company was necessary to bring the strategy of the company to a next level. That is why Group K was founded in mid-2021.
In recent years, partly but not only due to COVID-19, there has been an increased demand for IT support and digitization in the business world, which forced further expansion. In order to realize this goal Frank has recruited Stephan Krug since mid of September 2021 as a new co- managing partner to further strengthen Group K.
Companies are being forced to accelerate their digital transformation (COVID-19). Many integration partners only focus on revenue gains without offering them more business added value. There is a lot of room for optimization in terms of architecture and licensing, connectivity, security, visibility and day-to-day IT management. Those pillars form the core business activities of Group K.
